Camera Dei Contadini – Between Siena And Grosseto
Il Casalino is a farmhouse with swimming pool, immersed in the unspoiled nature of the Basso Merse Reserve, halfway between Grosseto and Siena, a few minutes from the Terme di Petriolo, overlooking the hills of Montalcino.
A welcoming farmhouse away from traffic and noise. Isolated but close to cultural centers and natural oases. The ideal place to relax with walks in the woods or in our vineyard, or the starting point for excursions and food and wine trips in the Val d'Orcia.
The space
The camera dei Contadini is inside an apartment on the first floor, built in the Casalino farm.
With careful restoration in 2007 it has been transformed into a comfortable farmhouse.
The accommodation has a common area: living room with terrace and equipped kitchen, which leads to the two bedrooms.
In the camera dei Contadini there is a double bed and one in the mezzanine, bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower.
Guest access
We have a 16x5m deep pool up to 2.10m for the summer season.
A barbecue and outdoor tables in the garden are available to our guests.
During your stay
It is also possible to eat on reservation at our restaurant with a menu based on typical Tuscan cuisine.
Other things to note
Heating only from 1 November to 31 March.
Possibility of B&B or dinner by reservation.
